What is Mynt and how does it improve Greentube’s operations?
As a global iGaming provider since 2000, we rely heavily on tech and our remote gaming
server (RGS) is our main vehicle to deliver our products to our operator partners. To ensure
we stay ahead of the game, we realised there was a need to upgrade our tech stack and
that’s how Mynt was born. We have worked hard to develop this new state-of-the-art RGS
for producing and supplying games and the result is a more streamlined experience for both
operators and players.
The platform has been designed with a wide range of next-level engagement and retention
options in mind, providing operators with tools that are extremely important to help drive
profitability in a super competitive market.
Player retention tools are presented as a pre-installed in-game widget with overlay
functionality, limiting the amount of work for operators, while Greentube Mynt’s full-blown
back-end ensures an easy pre-configuration of end-player promotional campaigns and
campaign tracking.
While offering comprehensive Free Spins, further community features are next in line to be
added to the platform, including Prize Drops and Tournaments. In the near-future,
capabilities for more white-label options will be added to the stack.
All these features we consider to be crucial in iGaming and to allow Greentube’s more than
18 game studio partners to produce even better game content in less time, the Games
Development Kit – now Greentube Mynt Create – has been rebuilt from the ground up.
The new tech stack is also supported by a state-of-the-art microservices platform that
provides a secure, reliable, robust and scalable framework, along with carefully designed
tool support.
By offering a true revolution in technology and gamification, Greentube is set to make
further inroads into regulated markets worldwide as it aims to further accelerate its growth
plan.
Mynt is now live in a few markets, what has the initial feedback been and where will we
see it launch next?
We have rolled out the platform in several markets now, and we used it to make our debut
in South Africa. As the platform is both cloud and on-premise ready we can serve both
remote markets and those that require a local setup. This will ensure we can tackle any new
market opening and our strategy going forward is to use Mynt and not the old tech stack. So far, the feedback has been as expected, and we will work closely with partners to make any improvements required to further improve the product.
One advantage of the platform is that we will be able to use it to bring new exclusive studios
and games to the market. This is another important proposition for us as a content supplier
as this helps operators stand out from the crowd and attract players to their online casinos.
LatAm is the next big opportunity for the industry and there we are preparing to use the
aggregation platform of our Italian subsidiary Capecod to combine games from Mynt, our
old stack, and proprietary titles from Capecod to serve markets with the biggest possible
collection of group content.
As tech continues to evolve, what are the most significant enhancements you’ve observed
in the sector and how do you expect it will evolve your offering in the future?
The biggest change is that the tech is becoming more and more advanced, offering full-
service solutions including engagement and retention tools, compliance support and
marketing. This ‘one-stop shop’ is something we need to be able to offer to be the supplier
of choice for operators.
The most important thing for a platform is to fully understand the development journey and
ensure that the creative ideas of a studio can rapidly become an exciting game that is put in
front of the players without much hassle.
That’s the reason why Mynt is not only an RGS but rather a complete suite of modules
which will help our studios through the entire value creation chain from game development
to certification and even operator onboarding. New platform tech enables more rapid
releases, more streamlined and simpler development of features and also allows game
performance to be tracked very easily – all crucial components for studios.
Going forward, we expect new tech will further aid us in delivering more thrilling and
entertaining games to players. New generations coming of age will force us to look at our
offerings as they will demand different types of content. We also imagine that as AI evolves
and becomes more sophisticated, it will be implemented more to enhance iGaming
provision as well, taking it to new heights.
